Applications are invited for Recruitment Consultant desk from Recruitment Consultants who have a background in the Building Services, M&E, MEP recruitment sector.

This recruitment agency, which operates in the middle and senior management sectors of their vertical markets, choose to specialise heavily so that their consultants become experts in the chosen markets, preferring to mile deep, inch wide rather than generalist jack-of-all-trades.

They have an existing warm desk that has historic relationships with many of the key employers and contacts in the Building Services Consultancy market. Applications are therefore welcomed from Recruitment Consultants, with at least some experience in, or leaning towards recruiting for the building services mechanical, electrical, public health, environmental and HVAC sector. You could be working on a closely allied desk, but wish to further specialise into the Consultancy market, which is lucrative both in terms of Client demand, and perm fees and contract margins, or already have  experience in working in this sector but want to operate in an organisation that respects individual talent and doesn’t prescribe day-to-day volumes of activity.

This company is twelve years in existence and has already demonstrated it’s ambition by acquisition of a competitor in the last three years: the leadership team are approachable and whilst focused on directing the business growth, are very much “hands-on” recruiters and still specialists themselves. They were all Recruitment Consultants themselves – indeed they still are – so they can give appropriate guidance and support to their Recruitment Consultants and they know what the challenges are that all good Recruitment Consultants face.
