Recruitment Manager - Divisional Lead
My Client, a long established, highly profitable, industry name has a fantastic and enviable portfolio of Clients and daily, supplies nearly a thousand sites with over three thousand skilled and unskilled Trades and labour operatives at any one time; they require a Recruitment Manager to capitalise on their market position and further develop their nationwide network of Consultants delivering to the White Collar perm, contract and temp sectors.
They have extremely strong relationships across several sectors within the Construction recruitment market:
- Main Contracting
- Energy & Power
- M&E Installation
- Civil Engineering
- Site Services & Logistics
The requirement for a Recruitment Manager is one for a business driver: they do not need a "management consultant" to identify the current opportunities that exist within their business: they already know that these exist and that the scope for development and expansion of their existing team is huge: they need a passionate, enthusiastic, experienced Construction Recruitment Manager who knows how to fill Production and Commercial managerial roles within the above sectors and who can train, develop and empower existing Recruitment Consultants stationed within the existing branch networks to maximise their sales and their own income.
They want a Leader: someone with charisma, someone who still walks-the-walk, not just talks-the-talk. A "do-er", not a "tell-er". Someone hungry, someone with drive, ambition, and with a track record to demonstrate their credibility, both internally and externally.
If you are ambitious, enjoy the thrill of selling still, can cut the mustard dealing with Board Level Client contacts and yet have all the necessary empathy and recruitment skills to help complete each and every recruitment sale to the satisfaction of the candidate and client, have an eye for detail and the patience to engender the right behaviors in all the recruitment staff under your remit, then this is a challenging but hugely rewarding opportunity: rewarding financially, yes, but also rewarding in terms of developing others careers and creating excellence in service delivery. It's hand-on, it;s operational, it's a tiny bit strategic, but most of all, it's Recruitment.
