Head of Professional Services
Due to planned expansion, Cooper Lomaz Recruitment are looking for a Head of Professional Services. This exciting opportunity will give you responsibility for the growth and development of three key divisions; Accountancy & Finance, Sales & Marketing and Insurance. As part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for driving profitability and headcount growth within these teams.

In March 2018 we launched our new Colchester office, giving us three strategically placed offices to partner with our clients and candidates from across East Anglia. We plan to grow our Colchester office significantly, which will see our Accountancy & Finance and Sales & Marketing teams growing from there as well as Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.
The role will report directly into Simon Brown, Cooper Lomaz’ Managing Director, and will have significant involvement at a senior level across all 3 offices. With full leadership and management responsibility for three teams, this role will allow you to have a massive impact on our business.
The Head of Professional Services will have accountability for increasing headcount, maximising the potential of existing and new staff, winning new business and driving both permanent and contract revenue growth. This part of the job role is where you can demonstrate true leadership qualities and drive positive results from a sales team.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for budgeting and forecasting across the teams and offices, and be responsible for recruitment and retention within your specific area. However more importantly, you will have a voice to set the tone, message and goals of the division. This is a role for someone who wants to ‘do’ and have impact on a business. We want people with ideas and enthusiasm for change.
Cooper Lomaz are looking for somebody with a demonstrable track-record of managing and growing sales teams within a recruitment business. You could be a Senior Manager within an SME agency looking to move to a larger organisation, or you could be a Manager within a larger corporate agency looking to have a bigger influence within a business and take more ownership of a particular area.
To be considered you must have experience of growing and managing recruitment sales teams of 10+ people, ideally across multiple sectors. Experience of working within a technical or professional service recruitment background is highly desirable.
