My Client is a profitable, liquid and long established brand, privately and still family owned for over 60 years. They have an extensive network of local offices nationwide and a strong, committed and experienced Board and Leadership team dedicated to the provision of service excellence and profit maximisation.

This part of the group operates within the generalist recruitment market, including the Industrial, Office & Professional, Facilities Management, Construction and Catering sectors, as well as having distinct divisional brands focusing on Driving and Health & Social Care,  providing temporary, contract and permanent recruitment services from 40 branches, with over 3,500 temporary workers paid weekly.

This is a rare opportunity to join this companies' Senior Leadership team with full P&L responsibility to lead, manage and develop the business in their geographical division across Northern England across six location branches.

Applications are invited from operational Recruitment Directors who can demonstrate an exceptional career history of recruitment consultancy and delivery. As the Regional Director you will be fully responsible for the daily management of the entire operations within your region, reporting directly to the Managing Director and the Group Board. You will be able to demonstrate a capability for prudent fiscal management, development and growth of business revenues, profitably, team and people skills and development, a capacity to work within a structure of a large corporation empathetically, leadership and above all a desire to delight Clients, Candidates and your team of Consultant alike and make the interactions of all a pleasure. You will be intrinsic in the development of business plan, designing and agreeing financial targets with the Board and delivering these through your operational network.

You will be entrepreneurial, ambitious, dedicated and credible, but will also require personal characteristics that aren't always openly articulated: patience, humility, kindness, authenticity, the ability to laugh at oneself, and humanity. These are all qualities that are valued within this organisation and whilst these by no means indicate commercial naivety, they look to deliver their services with all these traits throughout their staff, making the people you manage and direct one of the key differentiators in a highly competitive market.

Candidates will be currently undertaking a similar role or they could be ambitious individuals who are currently operating as an Area or Regional Manager who can demonstrate their capabilities to directly impact on the performance and delivery of a team of recruitment individuals in the Contingency Agency environment.
