Associate Director - Public Sector / NFP

As part of a team that already produced £2M a year, from predominantly retained recruitment assignments, you will be ring-fencing their relationships with universities across the UK to place their senior level staff within Management, Operates and Student Services.
As this firm already work with many of the UK's leading higher education establishments and boasts an impressive portfolio of successfully completed assignments, you will find your client base of COO's and VC's who already work with this firm, is very receptive and open to working with you. In fact, this firm is currently turning away work!
This role will see you act as the Principal to develop this specialism over the long-term offering you ownership over the division if your ambitions area aligned with management. While the short term goal will be for you to establish this division as a stand-alone desk the medium to long term goal is to develop this into a large and thriving division.
With transparent markers in place to gain headcount for expansion you will be given a career path to gain a Directorship of this firm and as you grow the team will be supported by a fantastic inhouse resource for bids & tenders, research, admin, and marketing - not to mention the collaboration of working with peers who will all be generating leads for you.

The ideal candidate will be a Public Services Recruitment Professional with experience of managing mid to senior level permanent vacancies and will ideally have managed a blend of both contingency and retained work. This niche market is job-rich and comparatively competition free so would be a relief for Public Sector Consultants operating in over commoditized verticals. As the roles in this sector will be a blend of HR, Finance, Marketing & Operations any discipline within the public sector will be considered.
This is a highly professional and successful firm with a surprisingly low-key and relaxed working style. The team (40+) is made up of highly experienced recruitment professionals who all operate at the £50K - £150K salary brackets and enjoy a rich suite of tools as required to operate at the level of the market.
Immediate exploratory meetings are available for proven search or perm recruitment professionals with specific experience of the public sector. If successful you can expect to achieve:
- Salary £40,000 - £60,000
