Step into a true recruitment consultancy, away from contingency and into the challenging but extremely rewarding retained assignment/search environment.

This privately owned firm has been established for ten years and is run by savvy, recruitment experts in their field. Operating in attractive offices, under mature management with progressive techniques a highly contemporary digital attitude and extensive reach (their LinkedIn community is in excess of 100,000), there exists a superb opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to make the move to head up a team of like-minded professionals in a specialized market where competition still exists, but assignments are retained exclusively and campaign completion rates are 100%.

Ideally you will be currently operating in a the Property/Estates market, either in permanent contingency or possibly from a search background, but applications are welcome from individuals who are from a more generalized Construction/Built Environment who wish to step away from the “fastest-finger-first” contingent market space and who can demonstrate a mindset that adds value to Clients from designing and pitching sophisticated and complex recruitment programmes to delivering best possible candidates to the opportunity including from lateral markets. The roles recruited for are typically in the £75,000 – £125,000 salary bracket and are strategic, “linchpin” operational/technical roles within the academia and tertiary education markets – (these are not academic roles).

This role is very much a hands-on billing role, but it also is a Leadership role working alongside two other Sector Directors in clearly defined complimentary market spaces, managing a team of consultants and researchers, reporting directly to the CEO and Board. Headcount for this organisation is currently 35 and planned growth will see this organisation head towards a headcount of fifty in the next three years.
