O'Higgins appointed chairman of AMS

Recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) firm Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) has appointed Michael O’Higgins as chairman. The former managing partner of PA Consulting, O’Higgins was previously a partner of Pricewaterhouse Consulting.

O’Higgins has been chairman of the Audit Committee since October 2006 and is a non-executive director of HM Treasury and chair of the Treasury Group Audit Committee.

Insurance provider Groupama has appointed Philippe Carraud as general secretary - strategy and HR. The current managing director of Groupama d’Oc, Carraud will take up his new role on 1 January.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has appointed Mohammad Labban as HR manager for the InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon Mountain Resort and Spa. Business news site Trade Arabia reports that Labban was previously HR manager at the private office of Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the UAE.

Hospitality job board Leisurejobs has appointed Dino Penge as its new managing director. Former MD Marc Moreso takes up the role of chief executive, while Tony Wild, one of the founding partners, moves into the new role of business development director.

Steve Smithson has joined HR staffing firm HR Recruitment Solutions as HR recruitment director. Smithson was previously HR recruitment director at HR Counsel, the specialist HR division of Angela Mortimer.
Tax specialist recruiter Brewer Morris has recruited Hu Kabir to its tax practice recruitment division as associate director.

IT recruiter Vector Resourcing has recruited Naomi Pearce as Vector’s dedicated travel specialist. Pearce has worked in worldwide travel marketing for over five years with a leading inbound tour operator.

Background checking solutions company PeopleChecking has appointed Mathew Armstrong to the newly created role of head of business development.

Lindsey Page has joined retail recruiter McCarthy Recruitment as divisional manager. Page will be part of a senior team that will be responsible for growing and developing the McCarthy business.

International executive search firm CTPartners has appointed Carrie Pryor as a partner in its New York City office. With more than 19 years’ executive search experience, most recently with Korn/Ferry International, Pryor has recruited board directors and chief executives, as well as partners of private equity firms.
