By leveraging their existing portfolio of clients you will be simply creating your own sub-niche and will be the Lead Consultant on all Finance related roles. The existing volume of incoming roles will keep you busy enough so your focus will largely be directed on candidate networking and generation, but with a little work publicising your capability further to the existing client network should allow you to develop and grow your own team quite rapidly.
