The REC is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive to lead the organisation through the next exciting time in its development. You will work with the REC Chair, working board and elected Council to ensure clear vision, strategy and strong operational business plans are in place and delivered. This will include: an ambitious membership strategy that strengthens and diversifies core products and services and delivers significant membership growth; leadership and advocacy on behalf of REC, its members and the wider recruitment industry; responsibility for a strong commercial and income-generation strategy and; delivery of an ambitious transformation programme.
An inspiring leader, with outstanding commercial skills, you will drive a culture of collaboration and high performance, where a valued workforce is motivated to deliver exceptional services to our members. You will bring the vision to identify new opportunities for REC, to diversify and grow its product and service offering to members, together with the demonstrable influencing skills to work effectively with our many varied stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills and powerful credentials in motivating teams and influencing others to deliver business change are essential.
Whether you are a serving Chief Executive or this is a career step, you will have a demonstrable track record operating at executive board level in a complex organisation in the public or commercial sector. You will have the ability to get to grips with key policy drivers and to play a key ambassadorial role in promoting the work and impact of the recruitment industry.
With a broad remit, this role requires vision, innovation, creativity and drive to ensure the REC continues to celebrate its history and help its members engage with and thrive in a changing world.
