Recruitment Consultant - Technical

An independent agency based in Milton Keynes currently seek an experienced Consultant to join their established technical team. Joining a specialist team of 6, you will take over a desk with a number of key accounts on which you will be responsible for sourcing a variety of engineering professionals from Design Engineers, Control Systems Engineers and Project Managers to Mechanically biased Engineers, Electronically biased Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers. These accounts are established and currently bill c£100k per year, they now need a dedicated Consultant to take over and develop relationships further.
As part of a wider team of over 20 Consultants, you will find yourself surrounded with Consultants billing in excess of £250k - £350k per year. Consultants here really enjoy the balance between having a great time at work and ensuring work is completed to a high standard. Adopting a "work smarter, not harder" approach, Consultants here are rarely in the office past 6:30pm and enjoy an extremely collaborative team feel - if you need help, you can count on your team to pull together and support you. The office has a great atmosphere and often, Fridays here finish a little earlier and great work is recognised at the end of week briefing.
Armed with all the tools, resources, back office support and training you would expect from a large corporate firm, you will have no issues in sourcing the best candidates nor will you struggle to get the marketing coverage you need for opportunities you have available on your desk - apart from not answering to daily / weekly sales KPIS or being restricted by postcodes, you'd be forgiven for thinking you worked for a much larger business!

Recruiters with a minimum 9 months experience can expect to achieve:
- Basic salary £20,000 - £25,000
- Commission paid to 20%
