Senior Recruitment Consultant – IT/Digital & Change

What we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced consultant who has been successful in a 360 position but is now ready to move away from transactional recruitment and take their career further than they’re able to in their current in environment.

Ideally you have been working in the IT & Change sectors, and have an understanding of Financial Services – our speciality areas. You need to be able to demonstrate your skills in business development that transcend a structured cold call, as well as your ability to consistently deliver high calibre candidates in a competitive market.

We want to see individuals who stand out from other recruiters, who are able to act on their own initiative, be front footed, proactive and self sufficient.  You will be given training and support but you need to have the professional maturity to take ownership of your work and develop your desk into a successful and lucrative business. 

The opportunity

The Manchester office is was established nearly 5 years ago, and boasts an enviable clientele in the city.  Due to organic growth, talented recruiters are needed to establish new relationships and embed the brand further in the north.  The role will afford you the responsibility to pick your own vertical and also how you approach your market.  Business development is measured by how established your networks/relationships are, not how many calls you’ve made.  We want you out of the office meeting people, learning new technologies and engaging talent.  We want you to attend seminars, go to tech meet ups and buy people coffee.  A bit of cold calling never hurt anyone either though.  The business, our maturity and future plans will suit an experienced IT/Digital/Change recruiter who enjoys building sustainable relationships (with clients and candidates) whilst maximising their earning potential. 

There is opportunity for this new hire to develop into a leadership role through demonstrating their understanding of our business and customers, working cohesively with the team and ultimately teaching through example, leading from the front and inspiring peers to push their carers forward.
