Peacock to oversee Reed in Partnership’s employer links

Welfare to work employment agency Reed in Partnership has appointed George Peacock to the newly-created role of national employer services manager.

In his role designed to focus on employer engagement strategies, Peacock will be responsible for overseeing Reed in Partnership’s relationships with a wide range of employers across the UK, from SMEs to large companies and organisations. His role will also include setting up nationwide customer accounts to bolster Reed in Partnership’s local and national business.

Chris Melvin, chief executive of Reed in Partnership, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome George to the team. He brings a wealth of experience to the role and will be pivotal in leading our engagement with employers to delivery-targeted job opportunities for our members.”

Scotland’s Change Recruitment Group, an independent specialist recruitment solutions provider, has appointed Neil Lafferty as director of the Resource Group, one of four divisions within Change.

IT sales recruiter Robson Taylor has appointed Andrew Potter as consultant, and account executives James Rex and Matthew McSwiggan to its Birmingham office.

Following a management buyout, IT recruitment specialist GCS has appointed Paul Winchester to UK director of sales, while David Bloxhamhas rejoined GCS as director of recruitment services.

Fiona Gibb is the new UK head of the legal division of executive search consultancy GRS. Gibb will be responsible for heading the legal search team at GRS and will lead a team of 25 consultants serving the private practice and in-house markets.

Specialist communications search and selection company, VMA Group Search and Selection, has expanded its teams in London and Manchester. In the London office, Alexandra Moores joins VMA’s interim and freelance division as consultant, as does Leesa Fernandes. Cassandra Barker is appointed consultant in the internal communications team and Suzanne Kelly has been appointed to set up a specialist healthcare division. In the Manchester office, Martin Hanratty joins as consultant to focus on the public sector and Louise Jackson also joins as consultant.

Rec-to-rec firm Aston Taylor has appointed two trainee search consultants to its Hertfordshirebased team. Adam Henwood joins from a retail sales background and Kimberley Hewitt comes from financial services.

International strategic talent acquisition firm Futurestep, a Korn/Ferry company, has appointed Jacques Bossonney as European recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) leader. Bossonney joins Futurestep from ADP, a global HR business process outsourcing (BPO) provider.

Mark Graydon joins creative recruiter Purple Consultancy as consultant for integrated creative roles, recruiting designers, art directors, copywriters and creative teams for the London area. Emma Passos joins the freelance team as consultant. The Leeds branch, Purple Leeds, has taken on Craig Swan as consultant for digital creative and developer roles.

Ochre House has taken on four new hires for its recruitment outsourcing business. Fiona Telford joins as recruitment business partner, and Samantha Regan, Rebecca Turnbull and Tracey Shepherd join as candidate attraction specialists.

Education recruiter ITN Mark Education has promoted three employees. Carol Green, Mike Wood and Nick Scadden have all been promoted from senior consultants to team managers.

Legal and financial recruitment specialist, Sellick Partnership, has promoted five of its directors to board level. These are Hannah Kewley, who heads up the legal division; Ray Wareing, director of Manchester finance; Gill Turnock, director of the Midlands office; Sara McKinty, director of the Belfast office; and non-executive director Marianne Sellick.

Financial recruiter, Sharp Consultancy, has appointed Gavin Kendal as consultant to its Leeds office, focusing on permanent clerical and transactional staff.
