Seeking a Project Manager with 0 - 1 year of corporate level manufacturing experience.  Experience does not need to come out of the manufacturing industry.

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate with all levels of the organization, including working level & management, the activity plans, project status, problem solving new vehicle readiness issues.

Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate Project ECIs and related technical information.
Negotiate with multiple groups including Purchasing, suppliers, and NAMCs to determine best implementation timing to match designers’ intentions.
Develop & execute strategies for New model launch activity surrounding ECI cost reduction and master schedule creation in a manner that is best for all of Toyota.
Coordinate new model launch activities between multiple divisions and multiple companies considering every phase of vehicle development through SOP.
Problem solve issues impacting new model launch. Using past experiences and reflections to update OP’s and yokoten to other projects in order to prevent recurrence.
Accumulate KPI data, develop and lead the reporting of project status highlighting major issues & C/M for quick resolution.
Specialist will need to focus on more than one project and more than one activity in any project at one time.
Juggling multiple tasks is required daily. Maintenance and adherence to an activity plan is crucial.
Specialist work will directly impact the unit and vehicle preparation and trial coordination schedules, quality, and timing of the launch activities. Direction from Mgt is limited, so independent thinking is required to problem solve.
Networking throughout the company is critical to the success in this position. Reports will be made to AM thru Pres, and communication will happen regularly between US and Japan. The ability to negotiate, influence, and gain consensus is critical.

Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering

Travel: 20 to 40 % depending on the project conditions.
