Theta Partners is a boutique recruitment business focusing on placing technology professionals into specialist markets across Europe and North America. Our business is set up for vertical market penetration, supporting businesses on both a permanent and temporary basis and ranging from junior technologists through to project management and C-suite executives. This vertical approach to recruitment allows for each consultant to gain a thorough understanding of the technology and skill set required to best service our client base. Our core areas of focus include Network Infrastructure, Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing and Development.

Following a successful 2016, the company is looking to invest in several new hires and key to this will be growing our contract division. We currently have a strong, stable contractor book across several key accounts but we are now looking to grow this in order to allow for additional investment in the business Internationally.

Your primary duties:

On a day-day basis the core duties for this position will involve:
  • To drive growth and develop the specified vertical market for Theta partners on a UK and Pan-European basis. You will act as a 360 consultant and as such be responsible for both client and candidate development
  • To achieve consistent and rising revenue generation within a technology specific vertical.
  • As a senior consultant, developing your specified vertical, with a clear focus on weekly GP growth. The aim would be to achieve a weekly GP of ??5,000 within a 6-9 month period.
  • To drive the development of new clients within the target vertical, by agreeing exclusive working agreements and establishing terms of business with a variety of companies but including telecommunications, financial institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to offer constructive, entrepreneurial and forward thinking ideas and concepts to assist in the development and growth of Theta Partners as a leading recruitment technology provider.
  • Build talent-pools of candidate resumes and establish yourself within a vertical market.
  • Screen resumes and qualify potential candidates about suitable job vacancies.
  • Develop leads for new business and conduct business development.

Key attributes, experience and requirements:

  • Theta Partners is looking to recruit confident, self-motivated, determined and ambitious individuals.
  • You should be well educated to degree standard ideally, have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of customers. This role will involve working with Senior Management teams so you must feel confident in this area.
  • You should have a proven background within ideally technology recruitment and understand the various models available and benefits associated with each offering.
  • You should have experience working contract or interim vacancies having opened new accounts and then successfully delivered into them. We are looking to hire consultants with a clear track-record in contract recruitment.
  • You will be recognized internally and externally as an expert within your Practice area/industry sector
  • You will have an extensive network of candidates and clients in the sector
  • You should also be able to provide strong examples of building networks, developing business and managing multiple assignments.
  • A key component of this role is to open and drive new accounts so previous business development success and an ability to bring new business into the company is vital.
  • Your ambition to succeed in a pressurised and competitive yet extremely high integrity based environment must be clearly evident.
