International students can apply for work rather than leave the UK

Government proposals enabling international students to stay in the UK after graduation to find a job is great news for recruiters.

The BBC reports the Home Office is to reverse a 2012 decision made by then Home Secretary Theresa May that forced overseas students to leave four months after finishing a degree.

Under the Home Office proposals, international students will be allowed to stay in the UK for two years after graduation to find a job.
