• Health and education recruiter Athona Recruitment has appointed Isabel Fernandes as head of permanent recruitment of its nursing division.

Ben Markwell joins Bond Williams Professional Recruitment as a senior consultant in Oxford.

• Talent pipeline software provider Candidate.ID has appointed Jane Mackie as chief financial officer. She joins from Idox, a specialist software supplier to the public sector, where she was also CFO.

Andy Summers joins independent job board CV-Library as its new chief technology officer, bringing with him 28 years’ experience in global business. Elsewhere, managing director Lee Biggins takes the role of CEO, while deputy MD John Salt is appointed MD.

• Impellam group workforce solutions provider Guidant Global has promoted Simon Blockley to CEO from managing director of Guidant’s European operations. Blockley joined Guidant in 2014.

Stacey Rauch has been appointed to global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles’ board of directors as an independent director and will serve on its audit and finance committee.

• US-based IT Works Recruitment has promoted Amy Cullen to business systems divisional manager for a niche division of IT Works Recruitment. She joined the agency as a LIMS specialist and will be managing the LIMS, Kronos, NetSuite, JD Edwards and Infor Lawson teams out of the firm’s Atlanta office in her new role.

• Global executive search firm Korn Ferry welcomes Alistair Copeland as vice president of IT services in the firm’s recruitment processes outsourcing (RPO) & professional search business based in Dublin. Justin Gilbert also joins Korn Ferry as senior client partner in the global technology and global marketing officer practices, based in the London office.

• International executive search firm Pedersen & Partners has promoted Eva Alberte to country manager for Latvia. She takes over from Evita Lune, who will be taking on a more international role focusing on leading the firm’s FinTech practice.

Linda Galipeau is to step down from the executive board of recruitment giant Randstad from 26 March. Galipeau joined Randstad in 1995 as a district manager in the US. In 1997, she started their Canadian operations and in 2008 was appointed president of Randstad staffing in the US. Appointed to the executive board in 2012, she is responsible for the US, Canada, Randstad Sourceright, Monster and RiseSmart.

Rebecca Henderson and Karen Fichuk are nominated for appointment as members of the executive board with responsibilities for and global businesses Randstad North America respectively.

• Leadership advisory and executive search firm Sheffield Haworth has announced a series of promotions. These are:

  • Emily Von Kohorn from the New York office has been promoted from executive director to managing director within the global real estate practice.
  • Sarah Harte from the New York office has been promoted from executive director to MD within the global markets – equities practice.
  • Jennifer Montalvo from the New York office has been promoted from executive director to MD within the global markets practice.
  • Robert Dyson from the New York office has been promoted from senior associate to senior consultant within the global real estate practice.
  • Andrew Thompson from the New York office has been promoted from director to executive director within the wealth and asset management practice.
  • Chris Smailes from the New York Office has been promoted from executive director to MD within the asset management practice.
  • Nick Sehmer from the London office has been promoted from associate consultant to senior consultant within the asset management practice.
  • Charles Bruce-Smythe has assumed responsibility as global head of asset management, broadening his remit across the asset management practice at Sheffield Haworth.
  • Helen Tudor from the London office has been promoted from executive director to MD within the business & professional services practice.
  • Dan Jones from the London office has been promoted from associate to associate consultant within the business & professional services practice.
  • Florence Henaff from the London office has been promoted from associate to associate consultant within the markets practice.
  • Daniel Woodgate from the London office has been promoted from senior consultant to director within the technology practice.
  • Richard Barrett from the London office has been promoted from associate to associate consultant within the technology practice.
  • Tim Horslen from the London office has been promoted from research manager to associate consultant within the digital, data and technology practice operating across Sheffield Haworth and digital and tech search firm Gillamor Stephens (acquired in March 2018).
  • Jonny Warner from the Hong Kong office has been promoted from associate consultant to senior consultant within the corporate officers practice.
  • William Bown from the Hong Kong Office has been promoted from executive director to MD within the global banking practice.
  • Jennie Frewen from the Singapore office has been promoted from associate consultant to senior consultant within the business & professional services practice.
  • Leona Liu from the Hong Kong office has been promoted from associate to senior associate focusing on the investment banking and private equity sectors across Asia Pacific.
  • George Windsor from the Hong Kong office has been promoted from associate to senior associate within the asset management practice.
  • Karla Ng has been promoted from co-ordinator to associate within the asset management and global markets practice across Asia Pacific.
  • Fergus Adam-Cairns from the Hong Kong office has been promoted from senior consultant to director within the business & professional services practice.

• Ringwood-based recruiter The Work Shop has promoted senior consultant Hannah Van Tuyl to assistant branch manager of its Poole branch. She has been with The Work Shop for five years.
