Provide professional advice to individuals and line managers and as part of the escalation process. Advice may include complex resourcing issues, which could include a combination of employment legislation, Force policies, National Guidance, Police Regulations etc.
Commissions Business Support Services Supervisor with detailed requirements and manages the working relationship on a daily basis between the two areas. Undertakes auditing and quality assurance of files, professional training and briefing of staff.
Manage assessment centre through the comprehensive planning to delivery stages undertaking the role of Assessment Centre co-ordinator. Ensure all arrangements are co-ordinated, sufficient numbers of assessors are available and that the assessment centre is delivered effectively.
Key recruitment file reviewer and decision maker. This role will make decisions as to whether the forces should offer appointments or reject candidates.
Prepare, co-ordinate and deliver internal and external presentations at awareness events e.g. promotion workshops at various levels.
Establishes relationships with representatives from Command teams to ensure the businesses needs are appropriately met. Liaises with both external and internal supplier relationships e.g. Adecco, External Assessors, Apprentice Training Providers, Occupational Health, Vetting, L&D, Fitness etc. Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
