Home or office based – South East/M4 corridor
Highly competitive & benefits
In a world where personality comes second to conformity, SmithCarey are proud to do things differently. Focused on setting new standards in FMCG Recruitment and Training, we believe in putting people first, delivering on our promises and outstanding levels of service to both our clients and candidates alike.
SmithCarey Recruitment is now seeking a talented individual to join the Recruitment team as a Recruitment Researcher. The job entails sourcing candidates that match our client’s requirements for specific job roles. This will involve identifying talented individuals in the FMCG market via LinkedIn, social media and our extensive candidate database. Then, following up via telephone to verbally brief the candidate on the specific job role in question, prior to the candidate being invited to a face to face interview by a Recruitment Director/Consultant. Where a particular candidate might not meet the specific client job brief, but has a strong industry background and skill set, your remit is to secure their CV in order to build a talent pool that can be nurtured and matched to the right job role at some future point. In addition, you will provide support to the Recruitment Directors team on specific projects in order to ensure client and candidate satisfaction.
Your background experience to date is less important than your passion and desire to succeed in a fast moving industry with the potential opportunity of stepping up to become a Recruitment Consultant in the future. You may already work in Recruitment as a Researcher/Resourcer or Junior Consultant, or perhaps you may be someone with some FMCG sales experience and wanting a change in career direction. Finally, you may be a highly experienced Commercial Manager who is out of work and is actively seeking a fulfilling next role. In any case, we would like to hear from you.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate robust organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently, a strong understanding of social media, excellent communication and relationship building skills and a confident, outgoing personality.
Location is flexible for the right individual (ideally South East/M4 corridor) with a requirement to attend the company’s Hungerford based office c.one day per week.
