Business Development Manager - Construction - Non-billing

As a true Trades & Labour specialist you will be responsible for leading all business development strategies for the business. You will probably spend the majority of your time networking at a senior level, attending events and monitoring key construction project wins.
It will be your responsibility to align the company with busy contractors, across all sectors, and forge close relationships with Project Directors and Commercial Directors to gain preferred agency and sole agency agreements.
This will involve networking, lead generating, site visits, head office visits and working closely with the construction perm team to convert placements into new loyal clients. Once you have generated a valuable lead you will work tirelessly to gain commitment to work together in partnership through written formal agreements. While you will have support generating tender documents you will be the lead for the relationship and ultimately responsible for winning the deal.
Once each account is won or formalised you will liaise and coordinate all Consultant activities in line with the SLAs agreed. The ideal candidate for this role will have several years of experience within Construction / Trades & Labour recruitment and will be a natural rapport builder and communicator. This opportunity is open to senior level Recruiters or Managers with proven ability to win and develop clients in any area of construction. In return, a successful candidate can expect to achieve:
- Basic salary to £50,000
- Commission (bespoke based on spend from key accounts and key KPIs)
