• International recruitment firm Ambition has appointed Chris Aukland as group managing director. Aukland has been with the firm for over seven years and will continue focusing on Asian operations and ensuring the maximum level of co-operation and cross-fertilisation of ideas across all offices.

• Nottingham property management law firm Brady Solicitors has appointed Rachel Thompson in the new role as head of talent and HR as part of the next phase of its strategic growth plans. Thompson will be responsible for developing the company’s employer value proposition (EVP) and leading the recruitment drive. She previously worked for Nottingham Trent University as talent acquisition lead.

• Calibre One, a global executive search boutique firm, has appointed Betsy Patterson as partner in Salt Lake City, Utah. Patterson previously held a leadership role at a retained search firm where she worked on executive placements for medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech and CDMO clients while overseeing day-to-day operations, staffing and marketing.

• Oakleaf Group’s Technology, Change and Transformation division continues to grow with a couple of new additions to the team. Ryan Pryce, with multiple years’ experience recruiting top-tier lawyers for some of the UK’s prestigious organisations, will head up its Data Practice. Another appointment within TCT sees Erin Young heading up the UX/UI space. She has transitioned into the role having seen the growth of the business and will be sourcing top creative talent.

• Technology staffing specialist Primis Talent has promoted Lucy Grover to head of diversity & inclusion (D&I). She joined the business in October 2021 after leaving her role as recruiter at IT company NTT Data. Her previous role at Primis before promotion was D&I consultant.

• RMS Recruitment has announced two new appointments to its business in the Tees Valley. James Rycroft is appointed regional sales manager and brings 17 years' experience in engineering and technical recruitment and will drive new business opportunities for RMS at a time when business on Teesside is booming. Abigail Howey joins as recruitment resourcer from V7 Recruitment.
